- Defensive weapons are the best for traders, as they need protection from highwaymen.

- Typically offensive weapons are the best as highwaymen are the most aggressive profession.
Guard
- Can favor either type of weapon and simply choose based on the situation.
Naval Professions
- Offensive/Defensive stats are counted the same on the seas, so the choice of weapon is not as important. Green weapons are still better than yellow, though on the water a pure offense weapon has the same strength as a pure defense weapon.
